What is Elote?
Elote (Spanish for "corn") is Missoula’s destination for bold, modern Mexican cuisine rooted in tradition and authenticity. Our Southern Mexican and Oaxacan-inspired menu, including many Tex-Mex style offerings, is made entirely by hand — featuring mesquite-smoked grilled meats, sizzling fajitas, and fresh, made-to-order tortillas crafted from 300-year-old, non-GMO heirloom wheat.
Our Head Chef and his family, originally from Oaxaca, brings generations of family recipes straight to Missoula — blending deep cultural roots with a commitment to quality. Every dish is made fresh from scratch daily using local ingredients whenever possible, for food that not only tastes better, but is better for you.
At the bar, we proudly serve handcrafted wine-based margaritas, cocktails, and mock-tails, house-made sangria, and a wide variety of local and Mexican beers.
